Our Japan cycling adventures are based out of Central Hokkaido, Japan's northern most Island, and the Noto Peninsula in the Iskikawa prefecture on the main island. Both feature wonderful traditional Japanese Inns (Ryokans), quiet roads and incredible scenery.
Central Hokkaido is one of Japan's best growing regions, with farms, cheese making, wine making and Japan's largest national park Daisetsuzan. The riding is very scenic with miles and miles of lavender farms and mountain vistas. The Noto Peninsula juts out into the sea of Japan and features excellent coastal riding, very traditional villages and a very old world Japan feeling. |
CyclingCycling in Japan is an out worldly experience. Nowhere we have ridden has as unique a culture as Japan. Roads are extremely well paved with jaw dropping vistas. We use high end bikes with choice of racing style or upright handlebars. You will pedal along and pinch yourself that you are riding in Japan!

AccomodationsOur accommodations are simply the best. We use small traditional Japanese Ryokans (B&B's), all with wonderful onsens (hot springs) so you can soak at the end of each day. They feature an incredibly serene vibe and you will feel right at home, except for the fact that you may be wearing a kimono!

Food & Wine Our dinning is an adventure unto itself. Our Inns feature full meal plans, with very traditional and tasty meals including fresh fish (raw and cooked), unique vegetables, wonderful foraged condiments, miso rice and teas all presented as only the Japanese can do!
