Sardinia is one of the coolest islands on the planet, with some of the best cycling in the world! The scenery is simply amazing, with incredible beaches, emerald colored water and breathtaking mountains. When we first came here that scenery just blew us away. The food scene did too! It is much like Basque Country, with an even bigger focus on hyper fresh fish--think the best crudos you have ever had. Hotels, such as the one pictured in the backdrop are cool chic with beach access right out the door. It's no wonder Conde Naste, Food and Wine and Bon Appetite rave about Sardinia. 2024: Will be the next time we are in Sardinia
CyclingCycling in Sardinia is just so cool. The roads either caress the sea or wind through the mountains & sometimes both! Our rides will take us along the west coast of Alghero, the Northern coast and La Maddalena archipelago & the spectacular Golfo di Orosei. Regardless of the location, every view will be stunning. We use high end German Canyon Carbon Fiber bikes to sail along these incredible roads. If you like the Orbea's we ride in Basque Country, the Canyons are just as nice!

AccommodationsOur accommodations are 3* and 4* hotels, some ultra modern, others seaside gems with less than 20 rooms. They feature scrumptious breakfasts to keep you pedaling all day long. Most have pools, all have a beach right outside the door and walking distance to restaurants!

Food & WineLisa could not stop raving about the food in Sardinia. She just loved the daily fresh crudos, whole grilled branzino at lunch and sea food oriented pastas or fresh grilled/seared fish at dinner! The wine scene is equally good, with local reds such as Cannonau and the crisp Vermentino whites. Full disclosure: We drank a lot of Vermentino as it paired so well with the fish!
